Thxs I had read Clive's excellent review of Duncan's work

I guess I'm confused by the Order vs Chaos 'lead in'
I was anticipating more than the 4 sentances

perhaps its just 7 degrees away
in that place where everything that is lost congregates

Hey, Miro! Try the link now (the first one). I am clearly not licensed to drive this blog, because I can't even do a link right. :)

Hi

your ping alerted me of your wanting to contact me.
We’ll see if, in an amusing irony, the linkback to his blog that Wordpress will auto-generate will draw him here to see the link he’d asked for a week or so ago."

your link to the Fast Company article leads to the Order Vs Chaos "article" but it is only 4 sentences long - where's the rest????

"Influentials:
In the "two step" model of marketing, well-connected Influentials amplify a trend by relaying media messages out to the social periphery. Marketers can therefore focus on the few as a way of reaching the many.

Accidental Influentials:
Watts's theory says the emergence of a trend depends not on Influentials, but on the susceptibility of the public to the "virus." Social-network effects are so complex, he says, that trends are basically random.

FYI I protect my email address and rely on the comment submissions to alert me of someone trying to reach me

and as this reply shows, the system does work.

and if you do have someone looking for a B2C marketer in the Toronto area - just leave me a note - and I will get back to you.

Cheers
